What is ShortlyOnline?
ShortlyOnline is a free website that combines a URL shortener with QR codes, a local marketplace for Phoenix-area merchants and Amazon deals, Save My Spot community events, and wedding and birthday party planners.
Is ShortlyOnline free to use?
Yes. Shortening links, browsing the marketplace, viewing events, and responding to invitations are all free. Creating an account is also free.
How do I shorten a link?
Go to the Shorten page, paste your long link, and choose Shorten. You do not need an account to create a link, and every short link comes with a QR code. Short links expire after 6 months. If you sign in, your links appear in your dashboard, where you can edit or delete them.
How do merchants join and sell on ShortlyOnline?
Merchant master accounts are created by the site admin. The merchant's owner can then add employee accounts from the merchant dashboard. Listings created by employees wait for the owner's approval before they go live, and the owner can pause sales at any time.
How do I message a merchant?
Sign in, open a listing, and use the message option on the listing page, or start a conversation from the Messages tab. The merchant can reply from their own messages page.
How are listings moderated?
Every link, listing, event, and message is screened automatically. Adult, illegal, or abusive content is refused. Listings that trip the safety checks wait for an admin's approval before going live, and accounts that repeatedly break the rules are blocked.
How do the wedding and birthday planners work?
Create an event on the Wedding or Birthday planner page and invite guests by email. Guests receive a one-time code so they can RSVP without an account, and you can track who accepted, declined, or answered maybe. Each event also has a private planning board, visible only to you, where tasks move through stages: Bidding, Confirmed, In Progress, Completed, and Reassigned. You can add your own stages and teams.
